Alchemy Table

This is a very "out there" idea, so stay with me. 

Basically the alchemy table is a way to make new blocks in survival mode using different materials to add to its properties. The table will have multiple slots to put blocks each of which will have a different purpose. Im not sure how this will be crafted but it should be expensive.

The first slot will determine the blocks base appearance. So if you put sandstone there it will look like sandstone.

Color: You can put any combination of dye to give it a strong or weak tint.

Luminance: If you want it to glow, you have to put flowstone dust in there.

Blast resistance: Whatever block you put in this slot will change its blast resistance.

Tool: If you use wood for this you will need an axe.

Flammability: Use gunpowder to make it flammable.

Transparency: Use lava to make it transparent.

Shape: Select if you want it be a block, stair, or slab.

Note that blocks that you can interact with such as a crafting table cannot be used in the alchemy table.

This is just a rough idea, so if you have any suggestions at all, I'm happy to hear them.

    This would be incredible to have in the game, but there are just too many possible combinations.

    Alchemy is an immense concept. Your idea is interesting, but this mechanic must somehow interact with the outside world. I would love the ability to find/build a fortress that can't be easily damaged, for example, because the bricks are made very strong with alchemy.
