Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

though this idea is 2 years old I definitely agree with you I like scaffolding for it's unique look and properties but it doesn't offer really any practical use when it was added it was more like oh... cool. It just didn't meet everyone's standard of how it would work like with older mods where you could use scaffolding kinda identical to what it is today but it had no limit you could build and maneuver around with the scaffolding making it an actual useful block and knowing Minecraft it's not realistic at all so I don't see the point in having scaffolding have a limit makes building much harder and the cost of it is just not worth it for building so really I think if someone wants the look and feel of a construction site then definitely have scaffolding dotted around make it look like the scaffolding is actually supported but if you're using it for practical use it shouldn't have a limit.
