/summon air_pocket

In Minecraft there is the /summon command used to spawn entities. It would be cool to be able to do /summon air_pocket. This command would be used in oceans or wherever there is water. Now, you're probably thinking " why not use a torch or whatever to create an air pocket or why can't you just go to the surface". I understand that but what if you're too far from the surface or there are no close blocks to place torches on. I know that might not really happen but it would still be nice to have /summon air_pocket. Some command ideas for the air pockets are:

/summon air_pocket

/air_pocket

/air_pocket ~ ~ ~

/add air_pocket ~ ~ ~                        

(~ ~ ~ means whatever coordinates you want.)

  The problem with this is air in Minecraft is a block or more an absence of a block and is not an entity that could be summoned.
