We all know the drill when we see a zombie or another hostile mob. We either kill it or run from it. What if there was a Rare chance for a hostile mob to spawn passive? Lets say you encounter a Skeleton at night, and this skeleton just so happens to be passive. It would leave you alone, and might even offer assistance. This mob could trade items, offer assistance with a project, or defend you from other hostile mobs! It would add a sense of that not every creature is supposed to act a specify way and encourage the player to take a risk.
Passive mobs, like sheep and cows, will have a small chance to spawn hostile or neutral. It will be a fun surprise to see someone walk up to a sheep to shear it, only to have the sheep charge at you and start attacking instead. This could make the daytime a little bit more dangerous.
these concepts could let players know to explore a little bit more.
