Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Carved Pumpkins crafting (remove shears)

Carved Pumpkins should be craftable. As a Jack o lantern user, have to shears the pumpkins is waste of time , waste of iron and you get tons of quite useless pumpkin seeds. 2x2 normal pumpkins = 4 carved pumpkins is what I really want. Thank you.

    in the disk versions (minecraft 360edition, and xbox one edition) pumpkins just grow "carved" but you had to craft them in to seeds to get seeds. it took me 3 days to figure out why after harvesting pumpkins I could make jack-o-lanterns.  since there are so few uses for pumpkins and logic dictates making a jack-o-lantern consists of carving a pumpkin and putting a candle(torch) in it shear carving pumpkins pre craft just seems foolish.  plus have you ever tried to carve a pumpkin with scissors(shears)  it's an epically difficult proposition. in short having to pre carving pumpkins is a waste of time an materials.

    I agree with OP 100%.  Please please please Mojang, let us carve them (or craft them) somehow on a crafting table in stacks of 64.  I use jack-o-lanterns as my primary light source.  I have a tower-style pumpkin farm that drops 64 pumpkins with a step on a pressure plate...and it is now completely useless.  It is actually less work to use a conventional pumpkin farm.  In either case, I have to carve and mine each pumpkin by hand.  But at least with the conventional farm, I do not also have to place them all first.
