Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Fire quartz

A rare type of quartz found in the nether or created by smelting quartz. Fire quartz fits nicely with the theme of the nether, (everything being on fire and some shade of red) I wouldn't expect too much of a function out of this...

Possible function: When light passes through it, it creates flames on the other side like a magnifying glass.
