Looting Chest Nerf -- A Balancing Issue

Hi, something I have noticed with the newer versions is that there is a lot more loot in chest. This has made it a lot more viable to run around and find everything one needs in villages and boats. This increase in available loot has become especially noticeable when looking at the amount of loot sunken ships or treasure sites provide versus a desert temple. 

This increase in available loot discourages mining, farming, and staying in one place within the game as it has become much easier to simply go out and get really good items from loot chest than anywhere else.

If the amount of loot and/or the value of the loot in the loot chest could go down somewhat (or at least be adjustable) it would be greatly appreciated.
