Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

More variants of the Chest

There should be more variants of the chest similar to the different oak/spruce/jungle etc. variants of the signs, doors and trapdoors etc. There should be oak chests, birch chests etc.

    Can't argue too much with that, it also makes managing large stores of inventory much easier on the player.

    I also think it's a necessity now, we have so much variant of every blocks, but chest are still the same since the beginning of the game.

    This is a no brainer.

    Of course this should be a thing. With so many variants of fence, stairs, slabs, etc -- why not have chests with different colors?

    Having the same Chest color in different biomes makes it look very bland, it would be better if we had more variants of the Chest!

    We NEED more chest variants! Wood chests look so out of place in Nether and End structures, and in ancient underground ones!

    I wish they would add it because it's just decoration and that's it. Jappa is very good at that.

    This would be good for identification. Your Dark Oak chest for valuables, Birch for your Building Materials, Mangrove for Redstone, Pale for Equipment- There's a lot of promise here. The fact that boats have variants should make this viable. Perhaps chorus fruit could be given more use and crafted into a purple wood...

    Yes please!  And variant barrels too!
