Pine cones

Pine cones drop from Spruce leaves which produce brown dye.

Pine cones are everywhere in coniferous forests. - The taiga update is happening in 1.14 - and we have a brand new dye to use: Brown Dye. - There is currently is only one way of obtaining that dye and that is from coca beans. 

I propose that Pine cones should drop from spruce trees. - not only could they be used as a dye source, but they could be placed down like a flower pot and used for decoration.
