Bats should drop bat ears

People have complained about the bat being relatively useless for quite some time now, I don't mind some mobs being for ambiance, but allot of people want the bat to have a use, this is why I think bats should occasionally drop their ears when they die. Bat ears could be put in a brewing stand to create potions of awareness, having this effect on would give any nearby mobs the glowing effect when they make a noise, higher levels of awareness would let you see mobs from further away. This would be extremely useful when spelunking as it would allow you to see upcoming threats, or just reveal nearby openings

    I use bats all the time. Their constant random movement is the only decent device for creating random redstone activation, which has a unique aesthetic when used with redstone lamps. They are too easy to find and kill to be used to detect mobs.

    This would be very useful for the larger/deeper caves featured in the Caves Update.

    For the sake of balance, this awareness effect should last longer than the night vision effect, but the ease in finding bats, and the limited utility of seeing glowing mobs, would also help to counterbalance.
