Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Stripping bark off a tree should give you a bark item to use as fuel.

 It would be nice to have another source of fuel without burning your precious wood, so I would like to be able to strip the bark for fuel, then use the stripped block to make planks.

    And it should be usable as a crafting material as well, to produce tree bark panes, just like glass panes, that would have the texture of the tree it comes from.

    Ropes can also be twisted from the bark of trees.
