Rain should have another disadvantage other than its ugly becuase it raining and an advantage to expand on gameplay
I think rain is one of those "its there for the sake of it" things. In other games rain has a gameplay change, for example in GTA V when it rains the handling of the car is changed making it harder to drive.
The disadvantage could be something ling fish dont rise to the surface as often or sponge becomes wet sponge after some amount of time in the rain.
An advantage could be that crops grow faster or a new mob spawns only is the rain that drops a new item (dont know what yet but just an idea)
