Rhinoceros

Rhinos are neutral mobs that spawn in savanna biomes and that attempt to put out fire by jumping on it. The rhinos are neutral unless provoked by the player or an another mob.

    they should do 25 damage,add rhino armor, tame them with grass and have high defense , and be really fast

    I agree! They shouldn't drop anything when killed, however, since there's already enough rhino killing going on in the world. I agree they should spawn in crashes. They should be timid towards players, some charging if too close or if young are nearby. I don't know if they should be tame/ridable, but having them spawn in savannahs would certainly make the game feel less empty and more alive.

    I think that Rhino's should also become hostile towards you if you stay too close to them for a certain amount of time like how it is with the Polar Bear....I say this because in real life rhino's are quite territorial

    I think that when rhinos are provoked they should show their anger by charging at you really fast! There should also be fumes coming from their nose like a train and they should be able to break through just about any block when charging.

    It should drop something but something common like leather but it wouldn’t be worth it

    rhinos should be provoked when a player or mob attacks one or comes near its baby. they should be as fast as 5 or 6blocks a second so a player learns his or her lesson for messing with a rhino!!!!!!!!!! ;) they should drop leather maybe 3-5 pieces and their tusk which can be an alternative for speed potions since they run fast...

    these rhinos maybe can be rare because in the real world these are critically endangered species of animals :(

    Putting down a campfire or starting a fire in the savannah should also have a chance to spawn a rhino nearby that will come to try to put it the fire. They could use the bear attack animation and rigging to put out the fire.

    Rhinos are endangered. If you keep the idea that it can be provoked, then this will never be added.

    Rhinos are my favourite animals, and I totally agree they should be added. They should spawn in savanna biomes and only drop some leather (and not be very rewarding). They should be very strong, and also tameable with wheat. You can ride them and equip them with chests, and cannot be leashed. They will attack hostile mobs and protect itself and you, if tamed. This is a great idea to raise awareness about rhinos. I am currently learning about rhinos in geography, and had the same idea as everyone here!! Hope this idea gets heard. Fingers crossed for the rhino!

    Hello everyone, I made this post almost 3 years ago but on a different account. Back then I was thinking rhinos would be a great addition to minecraft's savanna biomes but now when I think of it it was actually not a good idea. As you may know rhinoceros as a species is very endangered (and yes I know, so are polar bears but they have already been a part of the game for 5 years now), so much that they are on brink of extinction.
    So my opinion is that they shouldn't be added for the same reason sharks were never added, to avoid encouraging people killing them or getting anywhere near them.
