Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Golden pickaxe changes

With faster mining speed and high enchantability golden tools have some good attributes over other tools especially if you can get them with mending. Golden tools get Silk touch and Fortune enchantments more easily and with less enchantment levels than even Diamond tools. Thus Golden shovels are a good option for getting grass blocks or flint quickly.

Unfortunately golden pickaxes can't mine most of the ores that would make the same enchantments useful. Golden pickaxe with Fortune III would be very very useful if you could mine Diamonds, Lapiz or Redstone, but now you only get extra Coal with it. I suggest that golden pickaxe could mine same things as an Iron pickaxe to make it better. Golden pickaxe with Mending and Fortune III would actually become better than Diamond pickaxe for mineral extraction as its faster and would not break.

    Even just the ability to mine emerald and/or lapis would be fine in my book.
