Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Adding opened trapdoors above doors can increase the height.

That's not the same, though, is it?
It's just an illusion, is clearly a different piece, and doesn't open with the door.
Also, it lacks the 2 wide feature.

The game definitely needs this. A lot of builds look somewhat ridiculous with a large, elaborate entrance portal, but a door in the middle more befitting of a small cottage.

This would also allow for nice looking stables and city walls, with doors or gates you can ride a horse through.

This should definitely be a thing plus it’s probably a easy add on

So many creative builds such as massive castles are ruined when it comes to doors. It is always so out of place ro have a giant castle with tiny doors. This idea is amazing and it should already exist. I think all varients or doors should be available in a much larger version including iron doors.

a mi me gusta siempre hacer murallas para proteger a mis aldeanos pero siempre la puerta es un problema, siempre las puertas las hago con las vallas de puerta, y con las puertas gigantes serian hermosas

Why doesn't this have more votes??? It's a must have! I'm super disappointed. As many said before lots of builds look ridiculous with tiny doors. My castle is begging to be finished.

How many votes does this need to be considered?

Also doors for the stables and big farms when needed.

I would recommend NOT to create a separate "large door", but allow users to build large doors by stacking regular doors on top other regular doors of the same type (wood door with wood door, for example) - similarly to what happens when you place one chest next to another and it doubles. This way users would be able to choose the vertical size of their doors, stacking one or more doors to obtain a door as tall as needed.

To choose the desired horizontal size of the door, regular doors would have to come in two versions, "left door" and "right door" - and the two do not combine - similarly to what happens if you place a regular chest next to a trapped chest. This way users would be able to widen the size of their door by placing, for example, two or three "left doors" next to each other and obtain a door that is 2-3 blocks wide.

I would like to have this for stables and barns for sure. My suggestion for crafting is to place 2, 4 or 6 doors in the crafting table to have doors that are different large sizes: 2x1, 1x2, 2x2, 2x3, or 3x2.

Excellent idea; I was going to suggest the same thing. To avoid Minecraft's general dislike of large placeable items, taking up more than 1x2 blocks (there may be a programming/efficiency reason for this) it could also be made possible for you to just place normal doors/trapdoors in a pattern then they join together as someone mentioned above. However, I can see this being really frustrating to actually use (doors joining together when you don't want them to) so the big door item is probably best.

It is worth mentioning that the devs seem very reluctant to add these sorts of complex decorative items; people have been asking for furniture building capability pretty much since the original betas and it hasn't happened, but doors really do seem like low-hanging fruit.
