Q: How we can drink in real world?

A: We move our head up to drink all liquid in the bottle.

Yes , but in Minecraft we can drink from bottles even if our head is looking down , so it's mean we're using our sucktion power to drink, rather than using gravity. So why you don't add this?

Also you can control the amount of potion, that means you don't need to drink all night vision, water breathing, fire resistant, or any other potions for just a few needed seconds. (And wasting the unused amount of time for nothing)

With this , you have control of your potions time , and you don't need to make another hard-brew potion again and again and again.

  Perhaps the player must be looking above the horizon to be able to drink, and the player would hold the potion to look like they’re drinking.
