More optional touch controls

More customizable touch controls would be awesome. Swapping your main hand and your offhand could be done by tapping on the icon that shows what is in your offhand.

Other things like toggling perspective would be useful. I would add lots of buttons to do specific things like the right-click function on a mouse. It could be used to shoot a bow faster than normal because normally you have to wait before it activates with touch controls.

    There should be a customizeable option for mobile touch controls! A great example for that would be an option to move the controls and be able to touch the screen with more than just two thumbs. Also maybe some hidden new buttons should be added! Like an attack-button this could be useful in the 1.16 update because if you hold you attack. This button should be able to be enabled or disable to be shown. I would like to play claw on my phone becuase it is difficult in PvP on the phone to compete against XBox or Windows 10 Players. Especially when playing Skywars or Murder Mystery also it is difficult to swap items at the same time or drop them. A shorter drop time should be added. Maybe you could add some buttons also enabled and disabled to switch items quickly between the slots it could be number buttons or < > buttons. It is 2019 and McPE needs better touch controls for Android and iOS!

    Change the split controls's imput method by adding two buttons. One for: destroy block / Attack / eat food / drink milk, another one for: place block / use items / trade villager / use boat- leave boat / feed food.

    Because it would be faster and easier than the current method. In the current method we can not move crosshair and do important actions (destroy block / attack / eat food / drink milk / place block / use items / trade villager / use boat- leave boat / feed food) together. By adding two buttons we can move crosshair and do those actions together.

    Place the place block / use items button at mid right and destroy block / attack button at mid left on the screen. Make it vertically customisable for shoter screens and bigger screens.

    If you guys do not want to replace the current method to this method than atleast add this method in optional on/off toggle, name the option advanced split controls.

    Yeah we need real controls for touch screens and we need stick rather than having arrows an if you pull the stick way too forward then the players sprints

    This would help a lot when using a crossbow. I can't use the crossbow because you have to long tap to shoot. By the time the arrow shoots, the crosshair moves. It's impossible to hit mobs with the crosshair.

    Please implement this, it would be very helpful for us to play the game very easily.

    @Bilbo Baggins Not exactly. PUBG Mobile has somewhere around 20 buttons on the screen, and I personally never get confused about what is what. Though Minecraft is for younger ages, and just because I don't get confused doesn't mean others won't.

    A variety of control options including the current (original), new presets, and fully movable and customizable buttons will encourage people who play mobile. To be able to personalize controls with great flexibility will also improve cross-play users to switch devices be it pc, console or mobile to play fully without being limited by the control options. Controllers, keyboards, and mouse (which do not function as how it's expected) may not be optional (or an option) to users will always refer to touch controls; and it being lacking to most, is very discouraging to mobile users.

    Possible buttons:

    Single tap button (attack, hold for mining)
    Block place button (or item use)
    Left hand right hand switch (shield & weapon slot)
    Player perspective change
    Item at hand drop
    Item slot roller (previous or next equipment)
    And so on . . .

    Yes this would be so amazing! A camera switch at the top for perspective toggling and a button to shoot the crossbow and make it useful would be great! Also maybe a drop item button so u can drop just one...

    Another function that must exist: If the player touches an already selected slot in the hotbar, he must drop 1 item only.

    hello I loved the new buttons in Minecraft but the penalty of the button placement is paramount for the comfort of the players

    I would prefer them to focus on perfecting what they have already added and allow the user to position the buttons to make it comfortable for them. The way they are set by default makes it awkward to hold the device in a comfortable way as positioning is not optimal so allowing the player to change the position of the control will be more accessible to more players especially for those with disabilities that may have trouble with the default layout

    Add in a button to change Prospective and to to drop 1 item from the stack you are hold in your hand

    Holding fireworks and wearing an elytra should work when players click the down arrow (aka crouch).
