rechargeable nether stars

An item that can be renewed with a power capacity. for example, a nether star can have 1000 power but can be recharged with another item, for example, a bucket of lava to charge it back up. or a red stone signal can charge it back up. but that will require a nether star charging station this is a powerless nether star and at this state, you will have to recharge them with the recharging station.

  How would netherstars lose power?  What would they be used for?

  Maybe you could use the nether star to repair armor and tools? 

  I like your idea of an energy storing item. 

  It would give the nether star more use and make it the OP item it should be. You should be able to charge the nether star with XP and then use it to repair things in the anvil.

  the nether star could be used for some mechanical items like the auto crafting or in a Furnace for smelting but will lose power per item instead of being instantly depleted like other items.

  aaron melocik That is a good idea. It could have up to 500 durability before being replaced with minecraft:uncharged_nether_star and having to be put into the recharger to be recharged.
