Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.
When editing a sign, the screen is darkened and the sign is displayed. If it's a standing sign, the post is also shown. The text "Edit sign message" appears above the sign, and a "done" button appears below. Text appears between two blinking angle brackets.
Text does not wrap. The enter key and arrow keys can be used to switch lines, which does wrap.
