Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Wood Barrels

I think barrels would be a good item to have in the game. They can be filled with water by both a bucket and rain, making it cheaper than a cauldron. You can also put other items in it. Put in 8 leaves, and it'll slowly turn into water, which you can grab with a bucket. 8 saplings will slowly turn into dirt. And putting sand into a water filled barrel will turn it into clay. I even have a recipe for it.

    It is already possible to make barrelish constructions.  Place a cauldron where the barrel is.  Place spruce trapdoors on the ground all around it while facing the cauldron.  Open the trapdoors.
