Boss Phantom

I had an idea while sitting here at minefaire Chicago for a new boss. The boss would be a giant Phantom that spawns Phantoms once it is defeated. It could be a different color than the regular phantoms, it could drop multiple Phantom membrains and a very rare chance for an elytra, and spawn when a player hasn't slept for 20-30 plus days.

    it should be if the player hasn't slept for 120+ nights. Builders often work through the night so 30 nights isn't enough time.

    I do think there needs to be a boss that drops elytra. The elytra is too important of an item to be finite, only in the finite amount of end cities. On big multiplayer servers it can be extremely hard to get elytra, yet they've changed the game so drastically that they should be available. It obviously should still take a lot of work to get them and only after beating the dragon but they should be renewable. A phantom boss would be cool. I'd suggest some sort of grindy process to spawn it similar to spawning the wither where you have to kill mobs for rare drops to spawn it.

    phantoms do have a size tag so you can simply use the command below

     

    /summon minecraft:phantom ~ ~ ~ {size:64}

    you can enter any number through 100 in the size box above

    this was like an idea i had where you don't sleep for thirty days then go to bed and your teleported to a sub-realm island where you fight a giant phantom that spawns in other phantoms

    It's so creepy to fight phantoms during nights illuminated by lightnings. A phantom boss could be found in large areas without mobs.
     It would create storms with wind that slows down the player. Due to the dust raised by the wind and the rain the player would not be able to see around him and the boss would be illuminated by random lightnings. The boss could attack with very loud screams and cause negative effects by looking at the player with its eyes for a few seconds. When it reaches a low standard of living, it would call some normal phantoms to help it, they will be able to see even in the dust.
    The Phantom boss would be a giant phantom with more details on the wings, including veins as green as its eyes. Being injured its wings would tear and spots of green blood would appear on its body.
    Defeating it would drop many levels of experience, phantom membrane and a pupil of its eyes, which can be used to create a device to see very far away, even at night and underwater. A kind of telescope.
