Magma cubes should grow by absorbing lava

Makes sense right? When a large magma cube leaps out to attack, and you finally manage to cut it down to size, the tiny magma cubes will start to hop towards any nearby non-flowing lava source "within 10 blocks probably" and absorb it. They have to be in a lava source block though to grow and to regenerate health as well. However the lava will disappear in the process. I also think there should be an XL Magma cube that only spawns if the cube is in atleast a 4x4 sized lava source for a long time. plus it could be an opportunity for magma cube farms :) 

Tiny magma cubes need to be in a 2x2 lava source to grow 

Small magma cubes need to be in a 3x3 lava source to grow

Large magma cubes need to be in a 4x4 lava source to grow into an XL

XL Magma cube has 20 health points, 16 armor points, deals 8 health points of damage, and drops 0-2 magma cream "only in XL form" and 6 xp orbs.

    Describe your idea because that sentence means nothing. Magma cubes grow in lava, that is interesting but then what? Will they do more damage? Do they split into more cubes? How does their growth affect gameplay?

    Thanks for the advice my original post was not very detailed and by editing it gave me some new ideas for these neat addition for this mob.

    Huh, Forgot to mention that when the XL Magma cube splits it becomes a Larges and two small sized Magma cubes.

    This could happen with slimes in swamps when they go in water. However, I think a big issue is that Magma Cubes spawn on lava, so they would always grow to a large size
