Guys there is no point in asking, They wont acknowledge us as all their love and respect filters straight into Java edition.
As Sweeping edge would be great in bedrock edition don’t expect it to happen. Again we may now have equal update times, however that doesn’t mean to say the update quality is equal

I used to play java but then I switched pcs and didn't realize that you can just download it again so I decided to get windows 10 edition because it was free at the time. After building many farms I realized sweeping edge isn't a thing and I had to redo almost all my farms. PLEASE ADD IT ON BEDROCK

Guys, there IS a point for asking. Mojang DOES acknowledges us.

As Sweeping edge would be great in bedrock edition, DO expect it to happen. Mojang had made it very clear that they will give us all of the 1.9 combat features after they are done overhauling it again. Sweeping Edge will come out once Mojang and the Java players accept the new combat, so for the time being, check out the Experimental Combat snapshots that have come out and go give out your suggestions on the site.

It is so hard to get my sword mended because I use more durability to try to get some back from my endermen farm

This would be amazing since it wouldn't lead to more efficient farms.

PLEASE, for the love of the game, add sweeping edge to Bedrock edition!?!? Without it, mob farms are ridiculously slow and just kind of silly. We have to resort to brewing shulker boxes full of splash potions or creating weird trident killers and such to make our farms even remotely efficient.

I have been wanting this for SO LONG NOW and I would love if it gets added soon. And 1.16 was supposed to have 1.15 in it to but it barely had any 1.15 stuff

1.9 like combat will never be fully implemented due to platform pvp fairness.
mobile (incl. vr) vs console vs pc.

I am not showing any hate for this post but what I am basically saying is I think you should edit the title a little bit because it doesn't really make sense. So if you want the sweeping attack you should say "Add the sweeping attack mechanic" and not just "Add the sweeping edge enchantment" because it doesn't make sense having the enchantment without the mechanic it self. So in conclusion SylvyrStryyk please just edit the title so that the Devs can understand what you want.

Still waiting for this 3 years later, it would be so helpful and cool to see bedrock combat evolve and become like Java combat. Unfortunately, it becomes less likely with each Minecon.

Bedrock needs sweeping edge when fighting many mobs at once when at a mob spawner

Sweeping edge modernized the combat in java, and it baffles me that it's not in bedrock yet- we're still stuck spam pressing the trigger. Please Mojang add this to bedrock! (I understand you are very busy pushing new things, like the awesome 1.17 update, but I feel like this is such an easy thing to move over. Then again, I couldn't tell you the first thing about game design, so for all I know it could be super hard. Either way, just keep it at the back of your mind Mojang, and keep up the good work!)

Why is the enchantment not in Bedrock? This enchantment would be perfect for the Bedrock edition for a variety of reasons, 1. Being swarmed by mobs is annoying and hard when you have to constantly tap the trigger, 2. Enchantment would also be perfect for Mob/XP farms because (as said in the first reason) we can hit multiple mobs and kill them faster with a few swings AND can save as much durability as before. Please add this in the next update Mojang

It is very annoying to have to basically spam the attack button in bedrock edition, especially in mob farms. Ot wouldale itbso much better if you could have an enchantment to have this in bedrock edition.

I think that this is a case of the Java community trying to curse Bedrock players by the back door.

I say Java players because anyone that really plays Bedrock knows that all you need is a trident killer and xp from your mob farms are no longer a problem.  Many of us more advanced Bedrock players resent such a small section of the community trying to convert the version that we bought into something else entirely.

I tried sweeping edge courtesy of the geyser plugin for java servers, and to be honest, I think I would find myself quitting if we got the java combat system.

I recently read a comment by one of our technical community in which he says that he fired up java edition after a few years of not playing it and found it 'easy' in comparison.  That is what keeps us in Bedrock.  Yes, sometimes death can be inevitable but if you have a problem with that, you can always play on Java Edition.
