(Java Parity) Sweeping Edge enchantment for Bedrock

I've been watching sweeping edge become a popular enchantment on java edition for a very long time now and have been wondering why this has yet to be transferred to console (bedrock) versions as yet... it would definitely be very useful in my world and play style. As it stands, its horribly annoying to have to tap, tap, tap one enemy at a time when you're surrounded by a handful (and more with slime versions). That makes death way too inevitable and quick for such a simply resolved issue by having this mechanic implemented in the gameplay.

    I agree with this, because I also have the need for this enchantment for things like a blaze farm, as well as all the other mob farms in Minecraft (even though mob spawning mechanics are horrible on Bedrock edition).  Also, I do not get why Mojang has yet to add this to Minecraft  Bedrock?

    agreed. mob XP farming is easier with this enchant on java, as is fending of multiple mobs in a pinch

    The sweeping edge enchantment should definitely be in bedrock edition, (all versions including mcpe) because swords are more commonly used as a weapon in bedrock than Java. Java players tend to use axes in many circumstances as they are a little bit stronger when it comes to attack damage, therefore if anything, sweeping edge should be bedrock exclusive.

    Yeah i have clownpierce's texture packs but something was not right in bedrock and education should have sweeping edge how is it even fair to those that have windows and pay money for java i have java but my computer is a chromebook so i cant play java so i use bedrock at school playing education kids would love the sweeping edge enchanting book.

    There is litreally no reason why not, which is why it's perfect for the 1.20 "Making Minecraft more minecrafty" update" (quote from Minecraft live 2022) and is perfect as a start to add more parity to bedrock and java combat without doing too much

    I think we as bedrock players don't need sweeping edge due to there is no cooldown to attacks... if we got changed to the 1.9 combat system, we would need it.
