Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

you have the "needs info" tag so lemme develop your idea. What if you are allowed to build armor (voxel art) on a mannequin. Obvious there will need to be constraints (maybe the clothing can only be built four voxels away from the body.

How about having it be made from Carpet? It has no armor value, solid color, maybe stitched accents in the same colors that the Glazed Terracotta Blocks have. It would fit closer to the body than armor (this is clothing, after all) and would have a "hood" rather than a hat or helmet.

Ex) Black Wool Clothing would have decorative stitching in charcoal grey and bright red.

It could be made so this could be given to Villagers to change their appearance, which would be nice.

Leather Armor is a thing. That's technically clothing.

Players should get more clothing with either no benefits or different ones, like the turtle helmet allows one to be under water longer, maybe a straw hat will make one a better farmer, which can be enchanted to protect more too.

I think clothing would be a good addition if you could wear it on top of armor, rather than as armor

This is basically skins you can make custom skins on pc. If you play on another edition such as bedrock check this link out https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360009229032-Custom-Skins.

I would love to see some more utility or aesthetics-oriented, less combat-oriented armors like the elytra and the turtle-shell, after all, Minecraft is a sandbox game, not a combat game.

On the other hand, cloth armor is underrated, I will make another post about it, seeing as it is kind of off topic, but here is the basic information:

In medieval times, gambison (cloth armor, also known as aketon) was the most effective armor there was, including plate armor. It could even storm a long-bow at close range. Knights wore gambison underneath their plate armor, they added chainmail to protect it from blades, and then they added plates to spread out the force of the blows to increase the effectiveness of the shock-absorbing gambison.

Just because you can dye leather armour does not mean it looks as  cool
