The Below-World Update(Part 4): Gambel oak

This site only allows you one idea per post so I will be chopping up my ideas for The Below World Update into multiple posts.

What is the Below World Update?

The Below World Update is my take on the nether revamp. In my version, my goal is to give the player reasons to think of staying in the nether or continuously venturing deeper. These include things like:

1. Unique Hazardous Nether Environment
2. New Mechanics
3. New Structures
4. New Mobs
5. New Treasures
6. New Goals For Player
7. Tweaks To Existing Mechanics

My first suggestion is the charred oak tree. These trees are found in the nether. They have a black bark and orange and green planks(inspired by magma balls). Its saplings can only mature in the nether. Obviously, it has all the wood variant blocks but this tree is different. Its wood is fire resistant and isn't easily blown up.

Overworld oak tree leaves drop apples but charred oak trees drop amber (This will be used in future posts). One tree produces up to 2-5 amber.
