The Below-World Update (Part 3): Why Stay In A Place Like This?

What is the Below World Update?
The Below World Update is my take on the nether revamp. In my version, my goal is to give the player reasons to think of staying in the nether or continuously venturing deeper. These include things like:
- Unique Hazardous Nether Environment
- New Mechanics
- New Structures
- New Mobs
- New Treasures
- New Goals For Player
- Tweaks To Existing Mechanics
In this post, I will be discussing how to encourage the player to habitat the nether instead of the overworld. In part 2, I suggested the nether should be a place where the player fight to survive but still want to stay due to benefits. What are those benefits?
There should be experiences, content, and mechanics that the player can only access while in the nether. For example, nether wart shouldn't survive outside of the nether. If nether wart behaved like this players, would create a settle to grow nether wart.
Imagine If the nether had more flora and fauna to interact with. Like an edible item that gives 15 seconds of fire resistance or unique tools and weapons. Additions like these add atmosphere and more reasons to travel and stay there.
A recent example of this is Mojang's work on the Update Aquatic. Atmospheric additions like fish and kelp encouraged more players to make homes in the ocean. That is my goal with this series I will presenting the additions I have in mind.
