The Rift

The Rift can be accessed from portals which spawn in the end. After backing it to the rift portals can be linked to the nether and overworld(also maybe any other dimensions added in the future).

What does the Rift look like?

All rift portals lead to an island (8x8x8) floating above the void but the look of a rift is different.

What are the differences?

The skybox would either be the end's, nether's or overworld's. The island can be made out of:

  1. End Stone
  2. Netherack 
  3. Grass and Dirt

Why should this be in the game?

I think this should be in the game because it could offer a pretty unique canvas for survival builders. By the time the player reaches a rift, they should already have slow falling potions and elytra which help to build above the void.

    The portals to get there should be made of end stone and to activate one, you need to throw chorus fruit inside

    You would need a block from the biome you want to go to and throw it in a end portal.
