Ceramic Tiles

Adding ceramic tiles into the game will add a lot of potential for players to use it for the floor of their house/base (probably look better for suburban/modern house).

-How To Obtain It-

To obtain the ceramic tiles, you need to craft the 'ceramic' block first. The crafting recipe is just the same as the concrete powder but instead of using gravel, it uses clay to craft it. You can also have any types of color bye using dye just like the concrete powder.

After that, pour water to the ceramic block and it will changed to ceramic tiles. This method also been used for concrete powder.

-How The Ceramic Tiles Look-

The ceramic tiles will look like 'polished andesite' but the ceramic tiles have a more smoother texture than the polished andesite.

    I think this would make more sense as a variant on terracotta.  Maybe it's terracotta placed in a 2x2 and makes polished terracotta.  This would be almost the same texture, just with borders like polished andesite.  Smelt this polished terracotta and you would get a polished glazed terracotta that is a pure color (rather than the red shift of regular terracotta) with the same tile border.  It would have the same slime resistant properties of normal glazed terracotta.

    Oops.  I think terracotta makes more sense, in that case.

    I was thinking of just using terracotta. You would get a crafting table, and then you would have 4 white terracottas in a diamond shape, and 5 more in a color of your choice, forming a checkerboard pattern. The result would be 8 ceramic tiles. Think of the look to be similar to dark prismarine but with a white and colored checkerboard.

    Maybe tiles should just be smelted regular terracotta since its the only terracotta without a glazed varient.
