They probably won't do it because they wanted the pack to be unique to the Switch.

As a Nintendo Switch player myself, I would like the Mario Mash-Up to be not just Cross-Platform friendly but, also be available to purchase on the Minecraft Marketplace for the other systems. Microsoft was okay with the Halo Mash-Up being Cross-Platform so, I think Nintendo should be okay with their pack, too. It would eliminate the inconvenience of not being able to play with your Cross-Platform friends and that’s what Bedrock Edition is about.

YES!!! EXACTLY!!! It would be awesome to play on my PC with the Mario Mashup. I really like mashups, and I think every mashup, skin pack, world, texture pack, e.t.c., should be available for all the platforms. Microsoft should get Nintendo to allow it. It would be returning the favor of letting Minecraft be used on Nintendo consoles, right?

Please please bring minecraft to bedrock and java edition so we can play the amazing pack to.

Bedrock and java players kind of feel left out not having it for us so if you can please put it on those two platforms

    Thank you

I know the map and texture pack and all that will probably never be available for other platform players, but at the very least the skins should be usable cross-platform. It would be an advertisement for the Switch pretty much. Like "Look at me! I have the Peach skin because I'm a Switch player!"

I have contacted Minecraft Help for this issue while comments were disabled in this feedback. Justifications for making the Super Mario Mash-up Pack available in Minecraft Marketplace for other platforms, in my opinion, includes but not limited to, not needing to risk legal issues downloading one from the internet and I did not find skins from Super Mario Mash-up Pack was platform restricted until I tried to apply one in cross-platform multiplayer 3 years ago.

Yes I know (Super) Mario is owned by Nintendo, but I still want Super Mario Mash-up Pack to be put to Minecraft Marketplace as currently, risking into violations and legal issues are the only way people can get the mash-up pack working on platforms besides Nintendo Switch.

I have accidentally discovered a workaround for skins weeks ago, I am happy with the workaround but currently, it is only done on Nintendo Switch as this was the only platform with the mash-up pack, I done these by joining in my friend's multiplayer as soon as the skin starts changing just so I can take higher resolution photos or record long videos with the skins I need (I know it's some ridiculous case), although with high failure rate because of variables, with this, Mojang (Minecraft) and Nintendo should really wake-up and make the Super Mario Mash-up Pack to Minecraft Marketplace for us to use on multiple platforms, with no platform restriction, so we will never have to use the current workaround or even invent a new workaround.

Should you read Nintendo Switch's and Minecraft's EULA because this workaround might be in the gray area.

But if the workaround was defeated, then risking into legal issues downloading one would be the only solution and I don't want that to happen.

I would be happier if Mojang (Minecraft) and Nintendo put the Super Mario Mash-up Pack to Minecraft Marketplace for us to use on multiple platforms so we will be able to get it in easier way, use it more conveniently on devices we want and never use the same workaround or even invent another one.

Since the release of 1.20.72, the way skins load on Nintendo Switch has been changed, making the workaround harder to perform.

Also, weeks ago, I sent some e-mails to departments of Nintendo, discussing if the content can be made available for cross-platform multiplayer, and even for players of other platform to play, till now I haven't received one from them.

also I just have an idea of if Mojang and Nintendo make the mash-up pack available to multiple platforms, Mojang / Nintendo can make Nintendo Account a requirement for the unique redeem code of the mash-up pack, you get one on Nintendo member site and then you redeem that mash-up pack for one's Microsoft Account.

With this idea, I want Mojang and Nintendo to put the Super Mario Mash-up Pack to other platforms especially PC and mobile, before defeating the workaround and people find the platform exclusivity disturbing

Over the last few weeks Minecraft Help has "removed" the FAQ about the game for Nintendo Switch, which then leaves only "Different Minecraft Editions" searchable via "Super Mario Mash-up Pack", there are no disclaimers whatsoever so I thought "hey, the mash-up pack was ready to be made to multiple platforms", but nope, even weeks later, Mojang and Nintendo did not make the mash-up pack to PC and mobile, or even usable on cross-platform multiplayer after the update, no wonder why the world is so hopeless!

Anyways a community member has made player models based of Super Mario, for PC and I tried making custom items based of Super Mario Mash-up Pack, and succeeding

And let's hope Mojang, Microsoft and Nintendo get the message and so to make Super Mario Mash-up Pack to other platforms.

Mojang / Minecraft, If you forgot how to make the mash-up pack not making the game forcefully disable cross-platform multiplayer in an update, I can provide a step-by-step procedure for you.

People have discovered the issue where the resource pack from Super Mario Mash-up Pack couldn’t be used on Nintendo Switch specific multiplayer on Create New World screen since 1.20.73 (MCPE-180557 from Mojang Bug tracker), where they cannot apply the resource pack to play on even Nintendo Switch specific multiplayer when creating a world and requires a workaround for such. Despite it having the workaround, is by creating it, then saving and leaving, and editing that after, I had put a request for Mojang / Microsoft and Nintendo to make the mash-up pack usable / compatible on cross-platform multiplayer.

With the discovery of a workaround to skins being restricted and people's discovery of buggy (Nintendo Switch specific) multiplayer compatibility of Super Mario Mash-up Pack, I hope it is so the Super Mario Mash-up Pack would finally be made to multiple platforms, especially PC and mobile.

(P.S. it was broken platform specific content checking in new Create New World screen UI.)

The mash-up pack isn't updated over a month after 4J's announcement (MCPE-185721 from Mojang Bug Tracker), despite this month (September 2024) we got the minor update (Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.30), I (or we) did not get the update for the mash-up pack. So the best way to get the mash-up pack updated sooner than later is to make Mojang (Microsoft), 4J Studios and Nintendo put the mash-up pack to Marketplace catalog / menu for players to simply update the pack without having to update the game.

Waited and now it's over a year since I made my first comment there. And there's still no motion to the road to dream come true, that is having the mash-up pack usable on other platforms and having more players get to play the mash-up pack.

But still hoping to see the Super Mario Mash-up (the skins, the resource and the world) pack becoming usable on my PC / mobile devices soonTM

The Super Mario Mash-up Pack trailer from 2024 (from Nintendo) shows that the mash-up pack was running on a PC (00:34-00:35).

Even ignoring the trailer, the PC should be used to create the mash-up pack and it's updates for Switch players to get, but the mash-up pack itself is not allowed to be used on the PC, that the mash-up pack was created on.

Benefits making the Super Mario Mash-up Pack to all platforms beside the Nintendo Switch include:

    - More players can get to play the mash-up pack, even novice could get the mash-up pack downloaded

    - Updates to the pack won't have to rely on base game updates (for Switch) or community members to port / paint it again (for community ports)

    - Have the experience be in par of that of community ports:

    • The skin could be used on cross-platform multiplayer
    • The world could be used on cross-platform multiplayer
    • The resource pack could be used on cross-platform multiplayer
    • The mash-up pack could be used from other platforms
    • No extra workarounds would be needed, and workarounds would no longer be needed for each game
    • PC won’t just be the platform the Super Mario Mash-up Pack is created on, but also be the platform to be played with

Unless you're offended seeing this (therefore you might also be offended seeing "Our Values" on Minecraft's EULA), you might find this a deal.
