Horned Lizard (Passive Tamable desert Reptile)

Bring more life to Minecraft Deserts. Like Ocelots these Lizards will scurry away from the player and bury themselves in sand. When they bury themselves you will see their tail slightly and the only way to get them out is to break the sand block. Since they eat insects irl they can be tamed with (possibly) Spider eye With same behavior as Ocelots. Can spawn in as tan, light tan, brown and light brown

     And I'm sure you have no reasoning behind that statement. Also Deserts aren't already barren in Vanilla Minecraft or in real life in that matter.

    They have rabbits and cactus and the occasional dead bush in Minecraft.  They have cactus and rabbits in real life, too.  Deserts are not teeming with life.

    Also, a lizard should be by no means tameable.  That would just be ridiculous.

    Lizards are pets in real life pets and also live in desserts. And seeing as a game with Endermen and such  there wouldn't be a problem with adding/replacing the rabbits in desserts. Thank you for your input but it seems you only want to disagree with everything I say.

    I do not see how Enderman have anything to do with rabbits and lizards.  Replacing the rabbits with a more deserty animal might be a good idea though.

    Even some of the hottest deserts in the world such as the Sahara desert have more life than the deserts in Minecraft; foxes, antelope, vipers, cheetahs, gazelle, ostriches, and scorpions are some of the species native to the Saharan desert. So I have no idea why people are saying "it's a desert, it's supposed to be barren", besides, Minecraft deserts have more mobs than almost every other biome. The reason why sheep, cows, pigs, etc., aren't found in Minecraft deserts is because those species typically aren't found in deserts, at least not the Minecraft versions that look domesticated.

    Deserts do contain a large variety in species of animals, but, like I said, they are not teeming with life.

    Ive always wanted one of these for myself :) I have several reptiles and amphibians - would be great to carry over your real life passions into the game!  Id like to open a Minecraft reptile store!

     

    Deserts are not barren and are in actuality full of life, scorpions snakes rodents and lizards are found all over the desert.  Lets not forget the screaming frog! :) The desert tortoises aka desert turtles, are two species of tortoise native to the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts of the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico and the Sinaloan thornscrub of northwestern Mexico.

    desert only seem lifeless but at night a lot of creature come out from hiding, and even in day the desert is habited by lizards, snakes and birds. So I think we should add this new reptile to Minecraft deserts.
