Fungoid

Health: 10

Damage: Easy (4) Normal (4.5) Hard (5)

Drops: 1-2 Rotten Flesh, 1-2 Brown/Red Mushrooms, 2-3 XP (adult), 5 (Baby)

Spawns: Mushroom Caves

Description: Similar to its cousin "the zombie" the Fungoid spawns in mushroom biomes making them extremely rare to come across. These mobs move 2x slower than zombies and are very blind; however these mobs will give a player blindness, weakness, dealing a deadly attack. Using shears on a Fungoid, will turn in to a zombie (similar to a mushroom); but when a zombie steps on a mutated mushroom, it will automatically turn into a Fungoid... 

What: " Have a hostile mob that is native to only the mushroom biome that attacks players with not one but two effects that will give to the player."

Why:  " Is to at least have a new mob to introduce into the mushroom biome "

    What makes the mushroom biome special is the fact that hostile mobs don't spawn.  So please no.

    Honestly mooshrooms can't be the only life form and I think there should be more than just giant mushrooms and mycelium...

    good idea but how about making them spawn in swamps.also similar to the pig if a zombie in a swamp gets struck by lightning,it will turn into the Fungoid
