Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Radioactive Ore:

(Now i know this sounds like a bad idea but here me out.) Radioactive Ore will be a purple color or at least a different color then any other ore, it will harm the player when in a radius of 1 near the block, The harming effect would be like Withering But with a small twist, Any Mob That is near you while your Radiated will also gain the Radioactive effect and be able to spread radiation to other mobs but the effect only last up to 10 seconds, the ore would also drop radioactive dust (ore only drops one dust each block), with 9 dust you can make Radioactive ingots that will be able to be added to a new slot for the furnaces to speed up the process of smelting or cooking thing for a short period of time, (side note) with the new menu style coming i feel that they could update the Furnace Interface (GUI) for this new slot.

    If it is added, it should be called Uranium.  This would be better in a mod, though.
