We must go deeper! When I think oceans I think of a vastly unexplored part of our world. This aspect should be mirrored in Minecraft. My contribution to this idea is Deep Sea Caverns! Imagine an underwater cave that leads to a monstrous underwater cavern. Opening the doors for "BIGGER" things to spawn in the oceans but that's another topic. Link here: Leviathans and Prehistoric Sea Creatures (The answer to all are problems, sorta)
The floor of some of these caverns should totally be covered in magma. But not just any magma. Magma blocks are nice but this biome needs more...! It needs FLOWING MAGMA! Lava and water don't play well together in minecraft. I want to see lakes of magma under the sea with pillars of flowing magma seeping from cracks in the roof of the Caverns. (Imagine the Nether only submerged in water). This would be the perfect environment for a leviathan type mob to spawn.
Caverns would also have a chance of containing glowing Sulfur Lakes along the cavern floor. (Yes that's a real thing, Look it up! Its cool!). They could slowly damage you if you swim to far into them.
Don't forget to "vote" if you'd like to see Deep Sea Caverns implemented into the Fan Update!
