What exactly would a colorblind mode be?  Would it change how everything displays, or just menus?

I have longed for a colourblind filter for minecraft. It would improve gameplay for a large portion of the playerbase to have the ability to use filters and edit them to adjust for each persons level of colourblindness. It would mean so much to large portion of the playerbase for a feature like this to be added

I would love this idea, I'm colorblind myself too and when playing some problems can occur.

    YES! THIS!!

I can't tell the difference between a Plains Unemployed and a Plains Nitwit. The robes are exactly the same. No texture difference. Just color. I always end up killing the wrong one. I don't even know what the unemployed color is (must be like a red or a brown). At least give one of them a patch on the robe or some identifiable marking. A jaunty eyepatch?

    Please!!!

The things I have most problem with is distinguishing block from one another and equipment types.

The simplest way to help, would be to add major difference in texture. Given two similar colors, if one as a distinctive texture it would be easy to tell them apart.

The same goes for forms, if iron and diamond tools have different forms (or simply rotated or flipped) it would be really easy to distinguish them.

I agree because people that play Minecraft could be colour blind so it should be added but it will possibly be a little bit hard.

My boyfriend is colorblind and can't tell the different in the ores. I have to explain to point it out to him for him to be able to tell the difference between copper and iron for example as they look the same to him.  This should be a basic thing for any game now a days.

    僕は色覚障害なのですが、鉄の防具やダイヤの防具の見分けがつかないので、色覚障害でも見分けがつくテクスチャにしてほしいです。

without it, its so much harder to see structures like nether fortresses easy (which apparently are supposed to be red?), like someone with normal color vision would

My brother is colorblind, so I'm sure he would appreciate this.

I don't fully understand this, so excuse me, but isn't there an option in Windows that just applies to all programs? There is also such an option on Android (and probably iOS too) as well as the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. The Nintendo Switch is missing it though, so it would be useful there.

Minecraft Legends has these features, so it might be easy to import to the base game with little to almost no effort.
