When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Redstone Tubes

A Redstone Tube, That you can craft it by 8 Iron and 1 Redstone Lamp for 16 tubes, You can put a Redstone in it to Protecting it from water! or put a multiple redstone direction in there to fill 2 redstone in one block! if you break them its will drop redstone that fill in it, and a wrench that help connecting or unconnecting tube! Use 1 more redstone to craft a Tube Expander, That will be a Repeater in tube version! you can connect normal redstone wire to tubes by same direction by using a Tube connector! by 1 Expander and 1 tube!

    If you struggle with this in the current version of Minecraft a series of observers can be used to extend the redstone pulse infinitely and through the water. I am unfamiliar with Java edition but in bedrock edition, an observer only releases a pulse for every block update so you can feed the observers into a t-flip-flop to regain your solid current.

    Tubes would be awesome in vanilla! Intuitive, directional (also vertical, don't connect if unwanted), waterproof. I'd also like tube version of redstone torch, cause inverting signal is a necessity.
