I propose adding Diamond and Emerald rings. They are crafted using 4 gold ingots in a diamond shape and a diamond or emerald in the top right corner. They can also be found in various different loot chests. By themselves they don’t do much, but not nothing. Wearing a diamond ring will make villagers like you more, and make it easier for Villager to become willing to breed. Wearing a emerald ring and trading will make them unlock new trades faster. The emerald ring will make vindicators ignore you and diamond rings will make illusioners not be able to duplicate. Wearing them will also let mobs see you from further away. However the real power of rings comes from enchanting them. All enchanted diamond rings will make experience orbs give you more experience. All enchanted emerald rings will speed natural regen.
When you enchant a ring it will give you a positive and negative effect. When you hover over the enchantment options, it will only say one word relating to the positive effect and give you no clue to the negative effect. When you hover over an enchanted ring in your inventory, it will show the same word the enchanting table showed in dark green text. But, it will also show a word related to the negative effect in red text. Diamond rings will give positive effects related to attack, mining, and hostile mobs, and weakening negative potion effects. Emerald rings would give effects related to player stats(protection, speed, swimming) farming, passive mobs, and boost positive potion effects. They will also lose durability. However when their durability is all gone, the item won’t delete but turn back into a normal ring. The item will be completely depleted after wearing it for 30000 to 40000 ticks. (It’s randomized.) you can repair them in an anvil with lapis. You can also combine rings of the same type. You can only have a max of six powers per ring (3 positive 3 negative).
If you’ve made it this far thanks for reading! I hope you’ll take my idea into consideration.
