Don't click away just yet, just read at least some of this. I've played some games or mods for Minecraft that include underground biomes, such as if the mod had a biome called, let's say, a Radioactive Plains biome and everything looked brown and dead, and there was green fog, maybe the underground Radioactive Plains biome would be somewhat related to the above ground version of the biome. What I'm trying to say is to add underground versions of biomes, like the Jungle having some vines and bushes underground, Deserts having sand and sandstone all the way down to bedrock, and maybe have some dead logs in the underground forest biome.
P.S. If you were to add these things into Minecraft, thanks, also you would probably have to add sandstone variants of all of the ores so they could be in the underground desert without looking weird.
