Moose

I think that Minecraft needs mooses.

Once killed, they could give their horns to the player.

And at Christmas a small group of them can have the skin of Rudolf!!

--EAT--

Moose eat apples (@dheufb idea) and carrots!!

(You can't ride them cause moose is a neutral mob.)

--HABITAT--

moose live in mountains and forests!!

--DROP--

You can use the horns for decorating in your home!! You can put them on the walls or use it to make sound!

    Awesome! But maybe you could be able to tame them with apples then ride them.

    the plural word for Moose is just Moose, but as a Canadian i'd really like the idea of having Moose in Minecraft since the game doesnt have any kind of deer, as for where they would spawn I'd say have them spawn in Snowy Taiga forests and normal Taiga forests because Moose are well adapted to living in colder area's such as up here in Canada

     

    making them neutral would make sense and thus they will only fight back if provoked thus proceeding to gore the attacker with their antlers

    I think u should be able to ride them and put banners on their back so u can decorate ur moose.

    They should also drop Moose Meat that restores 5 hunger bars, one more than the steak.

    They could be harder to tame than horses, but tameable. Maybe you could use maple syrup or something.

    Maybe, if you attack them, they attack you and deal 5 hearts of damage, but otherwise, they are peaceful.

    I fully agree on a Moose! But I think you should be able to craft armor with their horns. Sort of like the armor always has a Thorns enchantment.

    Add in whitetails and caribou (reindeer) as well. Moose should live in taigas and tundras rather than forests as well.

    Hi, I have some ideas about this.

    in the real world, Mooses fight eachother and usually one of them will loose an antler (what you call "horn") at the end. they could drop it in that way.

    Their biomes being snowy taigas and tundras would be better, that would finally give snow biomes a unique mob.

    I would actually like it to be able to ride it. since every new mount mob will have a different charge up ability (horse high jump, camel far jump). the moose could have an antler charge, which can be used in combat.

    I have an idea for the moose to drop a GIANT slab of meat and make it so once killed the Moose falls to the ground then the player must a pro h the moose and use a knife (please add a knife) too collect the meat and once right clicked the moose looses a leg or a body part the you get meat after every right click and on the last click the moose it gone players get the horns.

    I think the moose should drop its hide to make a type of carpet. Also, the moose should ram the player as an attack.
