Banker Villager

Banker: exchanges ingots and nuggets for emeralds as well as other forms of currency like diamonds. You wouldn't be able to buy diamonds for balance reasons but you could trade emeralds for a bunch of iron for redstone contraptions. Or sell alot of gold nuggets found in the neither to get emeralds.

    This way emeralds would be like real currency with something backing it up
