Unexpire Realms and Make them Free

Dont be so greedy, unexpire all realms please!!! I want to download maps to my xbox user in minecraft but i cant now! Please unexpire all realms and make all of them free please!!!

    Maybe a separate non plus version of realms with no extra content that is free.

    Alright so here I am in 2020, realizing that what I requested was a TERRIBLE idea.
    I was so heccin dumb in 2018, and never acknowledged that what I do can change up stuff or make something happen.
    Now I agree it's a terrible, TERRIBLE idea to have in-game. After all, Mojang and Microsoft want to earn money.
    And without money, they can't host realms.

    ok so basicly i want mincraft to be free because i love the game myself and ppl dont get to play if they cant offord it and all the populer games such as: FORTNITE, ROBLOX, APEX LEGENDS, and so on are free to play we  just want to play the game for free and have fun i mean pepole have made websites just so we could all play minecraft for free and have some fun

    so please developers make this game free to other peopole like rocket leuge did so please please think about making the game free on all devices and the ps4 thanks for reading my opinion

    I do think realms should be free 2 to 4 players or something because Microsoft are being GREEDY BOIS we don't want to spend money on these realms.

    This wouldn't be in mojangs best interests and there is plenty of free server websites where you can create your own server

    Microsoft is so greedy, they already have enough money to double elon musk's bank account and give a dollar to everyone on the planet, but they still want money from us through the Marketplace and Realms.

    i feel like minecrafts ability to make money hinders it. like if this was free it could give the community easier and better ways to play together. of course i dont think they should be able to make as many as they want. there could be like one free one for every player. the free one wouldn't give free maps or anything like that. it would give you a striped down version like 1-5 players and world data could be backed up  to the owners system instead. this would give players an ok realm while if you wanted a better one, they could upgrade it by monthly subscription. and if you wanted this could be a way to add viewing parties for minecon live in game. while this is benefits the community more, It would a great way to add some excitement to community events

    I agree my parents get mad when I ask for stuff on Minecraft and it doesn't make sense that you should pay for a realm

    It doesn't sound like a good idea. Microsoft provides the server overhead for operating these Realms, so why can't it charge from here. It is true that there are a few providers that provide Minecraft servers for free, but most of them are difficult to maintain for a long time. The best way to operate such a high-cost thing in the long term is to charge fees and make a profit from it.
