Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

mycelium crystal

this crystal would be buried deep beneath mooshroom islands. it would be the reason for all its unique properties. when removed, mobs will be able to spawn and mycelium would start to clear away. this crystal could then be used to convert other areas into a mooshroom biome, or crafted into an item that prevents hostile mobs from spawning.

    So this is a rock that causes mycelium to spread? You do realize that mycelium is a part of fungal anatomy right? That being said, a way to make more mushroom biomes would be appreciated. Maybe some kind of spore you can harvest from large mushrooms or someplace within the biome.

    honestly, i have to agree with you @bilbo baggins, even though its my own idea. but it could have a use, like blocking hostile entity spawning in a 10x10 area, dont forget how rare mooshroom islands are though.

    Awesome. I think that when you said that the crystal should be crafted into something to keep mobs away, I think it should be like a torch or a animal like a unicorn

    i like the idea of having some creature that can follow you and block hostile mob spawning, but im not too keen on the torch since thats basically the same as a mega torch from some mod. i was thinking it could be a small floating crystal.

    No. Just do a mod. Don’t want this in my world.
