Emissive player textures

i know everyone would enjoy having glow in the dark bits and pieces on their skins, from tatoos to paint stripes on masks, or sci-fi styled helmets and glasses with holographic displays. The only current emissive textures i know of are for mobs only like spider and enderman eyes.

    If using Optifine, then appending _e to the PNG marks it as an emissive texture. Good for blocks and entities other than a glow squid etc. But I'd absolutely love to see the ability to natively add emissive layer to a player skin. In case maybe their eyes glow, or something.
