When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

    This sounds like it would get very messy, very quickly. I would prefer something like a "cheap repeater" that only transmits the signal one way like a repeater but has no delay, can do 90 degree turns like a rail, and is cheap to craft.

    Maybe it is an better idea to do that in a crafting table

    I disagree with people that say this would get messy, since it would be optional and base redstone would function normally. I think this idea is a great idea, and if implemented it would be pretty awesome if dispensers could replace the dye on the dust. this could allow for some pretty unique logic gates

    Another suggestion for this idea that I had come up with is a controlled path of Redstone. The path could connect similar to rails so that only one path exists and it could be less expensive in survival mode than using dye.

    This is what it could look like;

    It could be crafted by the following recipe which creates 3 paths;

    This is a great idea and could come very handy in many situations.

    My Idea is similar to Lundberg's, but your idea could work fine how it is if you craft it as Super Jooooooo said. maybe 1 dye can be used to dye 8 redstone.

    I think it should be dyable in the crafting table and all the different dyed redstone should be able to connect to the normal redstone.

    Rename on an anvil, so that only the redstone with the same name make a line

    it would save more dye if you craft colored Redstone dust. maybe one dye for 4 Redstone dust of that color? or maybe just do 8 dust surrounding one dye.

    Maybe we shouldn't dye them. A single right-click and nothing else.

    It would be good that when painting the redstone of another color, it can only be linked with the same painted color, so parallel lines could be created that do not connect, if the redstone is pointed with red color it returns to its normal property (red color ) and that's it... To solve the issue of redston on the walls, it occurred to me to bathe the face of the block with slime (just as it would go with copper and honeycomb) and after bathing the face of the block, apply redstone and with this it would stick to where we apply the slime (if we aim at the ceiling it sticks to the ceiling, otherwise it sticks to the wall) to remove this just hit the block with an ax and it would return the redstone powder (logically we would lose the slime ball) and the block it would lose its properties, it would remain exactly the same as before... In the game inventory (you should not put the blocks coated with slime) it would be like the banner designs that can be created but none appear in the inventory (they would be hidden)

    Good shout 👏 Maybe you could wax a circuit to lock it in insulation. This really would shrink and simplify a lot of redstone.
