Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Auto Mining - Quarry/tunneler

Tunneler - 3x3 horizontal miner. (could run on tracks and run on iron, coal and water)

Quarry 3x3 Vertical Miner (could be a wooden crane or iron drill and run on iron, coal and water)

they would have a set amount of ticks to mine 1 level of blocks. they would work the same for the most part. 

because of the 3x3 area and the time it would take witch would be more than the player mining it them selves as well as not having fortune or silk touch. would stop it from being OP.

I play a lot of single play. mining for basics gets old at end game or to tunnel to far away places. this can cause burn out and loss of players. 

Update 1:how about and anvil, furnace and rail cart for the tunneler and furnace, anvil and 6 logs for quarry. both are coal fueled and can't mine without it.

    This is a great idea, minecraft users could use this to more efficiently mine blocks and also build underground buildings(or bases).

    this is not overpowered because 3x3 isn't a huge area and it uses fuel.

    It could have upgrade abilities. Like it needs a diamond pickaxe to mine obsidian. Silk touch enchantment to collect the block instead of the item. Chests/shulka boxes for extra storage.

    output to chest would be a no brainier. i don't think upgrading would still feel vanilla.
