redstone under water

you should be able to place redstone under water on the bedrock version

    You technically already can in bedrock. Just use repeaters. It's a good compromise I'd say. Also it wouldn't make any sense to be able to place dust in water without it being washed away

    Change it so that Java can also get this experience. It's not fair that one edition of the game gets more then the other.

    I don’t think it should be placeable underwater. It’s a dust and water would just scatter that dust as it already does. However, I would like to see something like a redstone pipe that is placeable underwater, along with the various redstone components such as repeaters and comparators also having pipe versions that aren’t affected by water. They should be more expensive than normal redstone though.

    You can do it in caves and cliffs because you can place detector rails underwater right?

    I think if redstone could go underwater maybe you would combine it with something though, like copper since that is used for wirring irl.

    This would definitely be a nice quality of life change when building near water especially when you consider how useful water is in redstone for moving items. It’s unrealistic but realism shouldn’t take this much priority over quality of life especially when its not even that weird.

    on java you cannot place any redstone underwater so it makes sense to have redstone dust to be placed underwater on bedrock since other redstone things can

    but guys, dust gets swept away by water and you are using redstone DUST
