Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Enchantable Blocks

For a long time, (if not still available in the game in creative) you would be able to enchant your blocks but it would lose it's glow when placed. I think that you should be able to enchant blocks and they keep their glow upon placement and have the ability of the enchantment. For example an unbreaking diamond block should make it take longer to mine or harder to destroy with explosives. This would be very useful for wooden doors so zombies would take longer to break down a door, or enchant the block with thorns so it hurts you to mine the block etc. However this would probably most likely cause bugs because of the enchanting glint effect, but it'd still be cool.

    Perhaps the glint could only activate when the block is attempted to be damaged, so it won't cause visual glitches

    Kind of like when there's a barrier protecting something on series that involve magic, it's usually hidden until characters try to damage it.

    I agree with the idea of adding unbreaking to the blocks as it would add to the uses of experience orbs,

    and also add more of a point to building redstone puzzles/doors, if a player were to enchant-protect all of the blocks surrounding the mechanism.
