Oculus Go version?

Is there likely to be a port of the GearVR version to the Oculus Go? Should be trivial as it's similar hardware. I know people have successfully sideloaded it, it'd just be nice to have an official version. 

That's my kids' Christmas presents sorted right there if so. :)

    i cant afford a fancy samsung phone and headset for all 4 of my kids or 4 occulus rifts and gaming pc's so they all have occulus go and all they want is minecraft ...minecraft is a top game theres so many others why not minecraft this go was made years ago.

    YES PLEASE!

    oculus go is the only VR headset I own, and the closest I have gotten to minecraft in VR are a few hundred failed attempts to make the Vivecraft mod work (apparantly I don't have the right kind of computer.) this would be a lifesaver for me!

    UPDATE:

    I now have a WMR headset, so I have VR Minecraft.

    But this would still be great to add!

    I was thinking that instead of it being exactly like gear vr version I was thinking your left hand would be entirely stationary (with off-hand capabilities) while to attack/mind you would just swing your hand

    A port to the Oculus Go would be great, since the game is on the Samsung Gear Vr. I don't see any reason to not port it over. It does not make since to be only on the Gear Vr and not the Go.

    Before I got my oculus go, Minecraft was in the oculus go store but then when I actually had my oculus go it was gone from the store :( I am just really really sad about this because this was one of the main reasons I was getting a go. Please bring it back!

    It would be a great and simple way to play Minecraft! I would not want to spend thousands of dollars to play a super great graphics game. If Minecraft came out on Oculus go, so many more people would be able to enjoy VR at it's finest!

    Edit: Obviously a gamepad would be needed, but that would make it less of a demo and more interactive! Let's be honest, no one would want to watch the game being played, we want to play in it!

    Being a lightweight game and being able to run on even older smartphone hardware, Minecraft on the Go is a no-brainer.

    PLEASE add Minecraft to Oculus go! Im thinking about getting it and I would LOVE it! It would be a real hit on Minecraft and Oculus!! It seems like it could work on the Go because its a lot like the Gear VR!!!!

    Please, this is ESSENTIAL! There should be no doubt whatosever that minecraft is needed on the Oculus Quest.

    i want to buy ocules go and i really want minecraft to be on the ocules go. at least  bedrock edition because it would be a huge seller on the ocules go/quest and people will buy the ocules go just to buy minecraft. so come on lets make it happen

    how it will be 

    • you get to be immersed in the game 
    • you get to use a bluetooth controller on it unless if mojang makes a one handed controller support :)
    • you get to have a 360 look and be clear 
    • and multiplayer well be more fun 
    • it will be a good seller for the ocules go

    you would only be able to play the popular mod vivecraft if you had 2 remotes (which as of now only has one) it wouldn't work with one remote that doesn't even have a joystick

    Wouldn't happen, I don't think Mobile phones will ever run Minecraft in vr, I'm surprised they can run shaders without having 10 fps.
