Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Nah I'm fine with it being the way it is now. You only need it for decoration anyway.

Spider webs aren't only decorative, and maybe they would be used more if they were able to be crafted.

@ClayGoddessSari What other uses are there, other than traps and decoration? It's not a good long-term source of string or wool, if that's what you are thinking of. Mineshafts are not super rare, and when you do find even a single one, you're almost guaranteed to find a couple hundred cobwebs at the minimum, which is plenty for all but the wildest builds. I repeat, there is no need for a crafting recipe.

I don't think there should be a crafting recipe, but it would be cool if you could somehow get more of them then the amount that generates in your world. Perhaps spiders very rarely drop them, or place them as a way to slow you down. Or they just appear in abondoned builds.

Looks like they made cobwebs renewable with the weaving effect, that's pretty cool!
