Highly Inappropriate People ruining the fun for kids ****SERIOUS***

My daughter and I are Minecraft fans and use it to spend quality time together. We love the games and Minecraft servers. Recently we noticed people creating or using blocks to write or build curse words and inappropriate content for kids. It's very upsetting and has to be taken care of. I don't know how it would be done but it has to be. There should be a way for us to report players that are creating an unsafe environment for kids and families. This is one of the reasons we took away Roblox from our computers.

    It's ok if you want make your kids safe with censor, but anything that they use ("*" or "#") must only be visible to people with the censor enabled. This must be optional for all who wants it

    I get it, but why not just split minecraft up into two versions: Kids Java and Kids Bedrock: one for big boys looking for their nostalgia, and another for those just learning the basics

    Maybe don't encourage Microsoft to control players even more. It should be the server's job to moderate that stuff.

    is not child friendly please just don't ruin it for everybody else hypixel is nice but there is no game that has no swearing or bad things. just please if you don't like it maybe use mute or disable chat you can do that you know right?

    Great so now people can lose access to this game forever because oh no curse words careful kids might see them and their little heads might explode. If you are so worried about it play by yourselves there problem solved. Why do they have to play with others and why are curse words such a big issue they are only words. Slurs I understand but curse words written by teens isn't actually harmful. Java has a majority of older player base so go play bedrock where most are children and everything is censored and packaged for you quit ruining others fun because you are scared of words.

    Okay this is ridiculous. If you don’t want your child to see inappropriate stuff then 1. Mute chat 2. Go to a different server 3. Leave 4. Block them 5. Instead of just muting chat you can mute just the person so you can still see what other people are saying. That’s five things and there’s probably more and also if they’re building inappropriate stuff just don’t go near it and if that isn’t gonna work then most servers you can report them by a /report command and if not then just contact the owner of the server and inform them of your issue and they can take care of it. also we have to pay money for this game so if we get banned from our worlds and from our account because we called someone an idiot or something that’s really dumb because some platforms you have to pay for an online membership like Nintendo switch and Xbox and so if we pay like all that money and just get banned from your account then that’s not fair also it says ONLINE PLAY IS NOT RATED that means you might run into bad stuff in online servers and stuff but that’s your own problem that you have to deal with yourself and I already told you just mute them or play a different server and here’s another thing: if your trying to protect your child well they will run into curse words eventually and they’re not gonna live their whole live without hearing a single bad word or inappropriate content so might as well teach them at some point that it’s bad and stuff. But I hope your happy for ruining Minecraft. Bye bye

    That happens everywhere, if you are scared of others saying cuss word near your daughter then dont let her do anything, she is going to learn them anyway, plus minecraft is a game for kids and adult older than 12 years, you are ruining her life

    This is not the right place nor are they responsible for this "unfortunate" event of which the real cause is none other than your inertness and your lack of knowledge of the rules. Minecraft is not responsible for any behavoiror on 3rd part severs. The managers are the owners of the server who in most cases have already established ban procedures for this type of behavior.     Minecraft is about playing with people and having to have all words sensors because one person and I mean one since NO ONE ELSE commented that they want this too is pathetic and just ruins the game. I think there should be kids edition where young kids like you and your daughter can hang out and pretend to grow up while the rest of us live in our undisturbed life. Your daughter has probably heard that language before, and so I don't think she really really REALLY needs this sensored. So no, not "***SERIOUS***" at all. Just a parent who doesn't know what happens outside.

    Honestly, I don’t think this is a problem for the devs. You can’t completely stop people from saying or building inappropriate stuff. This is a problem for the admins on the server. My suggestion is just staying on family-friendly servers or your own worlds.
